Santa in a Snow Storm!!

So I just got these pictures from Santa as he was making his way across the east coast.

Actually this demo is sometimes called "Santa in a Snow Storm" and illustrates a great chemical concept. Your extra credit assignment if you choose is to submit electronically a chemical explanation of the demo using concepts that we have discussed first semester.
